Course Overview
The ITEC Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies is a vocational qualification recognised by Ofqual within the Qualification and Credit Framework. It focuses on the underpinning knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology required by the Complementary, Beauty and Sports Therapy Industries. The qualification is designed to provide a sound platform onto further learning or training leading to occupational competency for employment.

- 13 learner credits based on 130 learning hours (1 credit per 10 learning hours)
The course aims:
- To provide knowledge and understanding at Level 3 in the Qualifications and Credit Framework for those interested in the Complementary, Beauty and Sports Therapy Industries
- To provide opportunities for staff in the Complementary, Beauty and Sports Therapy Industries to gain a Level 3 qualification
- To sustain the interest of Learners wanting to work in the Complementary, Beauty and Sports Therapy Industries
- To meet core curriculum of the regulatory bodies at the time of accreditation
- The Learner will study the Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology of the whole body. As Complementary, Beauty or Sports Therapists they will be working in direct contact with the body structures and also require a comprehensive knowledge of diseases and disorders of the human body
