This three day intensive course enables the participants to develop the necessary expertise to support an organization in implementing corporate governance of Information Technology as specified in ISO/IEC 38500. Participants will also gain a thorough understanding of best practices used to implement guidance for Corporate Governance of IT from all areas of ISO/IEC 38500. ISO/ IEC 38500 applies to the governance of management processes (and decisions) relating to the information and communication services used by an organization. These processes could be controlled by IT specialists within the organization or external service providers, or by business units within the organization.

Examination and Certification
The "PECB Certified ISO/IEC 38500 Corporate Governance of IT Manager" exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). The exam covers the following competence domains:
- Domain 1: Fundamental concepts, approaches, methods and techniques of Information Technology governance management
- Domain 2: Implementation of an Information Technology governance management program
- Domain 3: Information Technology governance assessment based on ISO/IEC 38500
The "PECB Certified ISO/IEC 38500 Corporate Governance of IT Manager" exam is available in different languages (the complete list of languages can be found in the examination application form)

After successfully completing the "PECB Certified ISO/IEC 38500 Corporate Governance of IT Manager" exam, participants can apply for the credentials of PECB Certified ISO/IEC 38500 Provisional Corporate Governance of IT Manager or PECB Certified ISO/IEC 38500 Corporate Governance of IT Manager, depending on their level of experience
A certificate will be issued to the participants who successfully pass the exam and comply with all the other requirements related to the selected credential

General information
Exam and certification fees are included in the training price
A student manual containing over 350 pages of information and practical examples will be distributed to the participants
A participation certificate of 21 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued to the participants
In case of failure of an exam, the participants are allowed to retake the exam for free under certain condition
