Hi & Welcome to the course " (ISC)CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional"

First of all what is the (ISC) CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional ?

The CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) is an information security certification established in 1988 by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, also known as (ISC). The CISSP is a globally recognised standard for those who work in information security.

What does a CISSP certification do?

Earning the CISSP proves you have what it takes to effectively design, implement and manage a best-in-class cybersecurity program. With a CISSP, you validate your expertise and become an (ISC) member, unlocking a broad array of exclusive resources, educational tools, and peer-to-peer networking opportunities.

Can a beginner take CISSP?

You can take the CISSP exam without any experience, while not recommended, and then you'll have 6 years to complete your 5 years of industry experience. After that, you officially submit your endorsement to become an official CISSP, and then you can start using those letters after your name.

How many questions do you need to pass the CISSP exam & the Passing Score?

The ISC2 CISSP exam contains a maximum of 150 questions, and candidates have 180 minutes (3 hours) to complete the exam. The exam questions are a combination of multiple-choice, advanced innovative questions, and drag-and-drop questions.

The passing score for the CISSP exam is 700 out of 1000. The exam is not scored on a percentage basis, and the passing score is not fixed. The passing score is determined using a scaled scoring system that adjusts the candidate's score based on the difficulty of the exam questions.
