Course details

This programme provides learners with personal, social and work related skills that will enable them to progress to greater levels of employment readiness. Learners will be trained to identify their strengths and goals for the future as well as exploring employment or further training opportunities through regular sampling of workplace settings. Practical skills training will be delivered using a mix of structured directed training, self-direction and one to one coaching. Training will be tailored to meet individualised training and development needs through individual action planning. Certification at FETAC level 3 is available for all learners. Maximum duration of the programme

The core training elements include: - Literacy and Numeracy Support, Preparation for Work, Career Information, Personal Development Skills, Health & Safety, Computer Skills, Job Seeking, CV Preparation, Culture & Leisure Activities.
