Introduction to Make Up

Course details

This course provides an excellent introduction to make-up artistry from both a practical and industry led perspective. Available as a daytime and evening make-up course, it is an ideal choice for those who are contemplating a career in the make-up industry but unsure if a profession of this nature is exactly suited to them. Upon completion graduates will have developed a strong foundation in artistry.

Students will be trained from beginner’s level, covering the fundamentals of applying make-up, from the classic smokey eye and false lash application to trend inspired looks and bridal make-up.

When the Introduction training is completed students will have the option to upskill to the Bridal and Editorial Make-Up course for an additional €300.

Interactive Make Up Training

Training will take place on the LA Creative Arts College campus using state-of-the-art studio facilities and delivered by a team of highly reputable tutors from the creative make-up industry. Each element of the course will be taught through interactive demonstrations followed by a practical session to ensure students master the skill set of each module.

Students will also receive guidance and advice on networking to secure employment and learn how to create the perfect professional make-up kit for every occasion and project brief.
