    This course is designed for students who are interested in pursuing animation professionally or as a hobby. It will be of benefit to those interested in further study of animation at 3rd level. This can include beginners, secondary school students wishing to apply for Art College in the future, mature students or students who already have knowledge of animation but wish to extend their understanding of the subject.

    Entry Requirement

    • There are no formal academic entry requirements. This programme is specifically designed for those with an interest in pursuing animation professionally or as a hobby.

    Examinations

    • Continuous evaluation will take place during the programme with final evaluation on completion of the programme.

    Flip Book Principles

    Zoetropes and Phenakistascopes

    Scriptwriting and Storyboarding

    Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) is an institute of higher education in Limerick, a modern urban city in the Mid-Theyst region of Ireland and is one of 13 institutes that are members of the Institutes of Technology, Ireland (IOTI).
