This qualification is designed to develop the skills of learners that are interested in entering or are already in a customer service or sales related position. This offers learners an introduction to sales and the basic principles of sales techniques.
During the programme learners will cover:
- Differences between sales and marketing and how they are dependent on each other
- Understand the importance of sales to the organization
- Effective communication within a sales setting
- How consumer behavior affects the selling process
- Selling techniques appropriate to a range of organizations
Assessment will determine whether learners have achieved the standard required to obtain a City & Guilds International Introductory Award in Selling.
