Entrance Criteria

  • Grade 11 or equivalent
  • Learners must be at least 16 years of age
  • The ability to read and write in English
  • Successful completion of the previous learning areas (1-4) (has successfully completed the National Certificate: Public Sector Accounting qualification)

During your studies you will learn:

  • Work as a qualified accounting technician in the public sector.
  • Make a positive contribution to the country by improving public finance management.
  • Contribute to the optimal use of state resources.
  • Demonstrate a shift from cash to accural accounting.
