Course details
This course will develop the student’s awareness of interior design and decorating within the home. A foundation course, including basic house plans, interior design, colour schemes, colour theory, flooring curtains, window dressing, lighting, materials, wallpaper, soft furnishings, window treatment styles, decorating techniques including stencilling and sponging. Students will all work on their own individual room schemes to decorate their homes. This is a very enjoyable course for those wishing to enhance their own living space and for those considering further studies in this area.
Learn to think like an interior Design professional! This foundation course offers an introduction to interior Design principles, colour theory, design styles, lighting, materials, space layout and accessorising, as well as focusing on individual rooms in the domestic home
