Course details
The Interior Design QQI Level 6 programme encompasses the technical skills to design residential and commercial interiors. The curriculum encourages learners to challenge conventional thinking, develop their technical knowledge and skills and explore presentation techniques. In order to be able to communicate interior design ideas effectively to clients and other audiences, a strong emphasis is placed on the work practice element of the course.
Entry Requirements
- QQI Level 5 Award in Interior Design
- QQI Level 5 Award in a related area
- Applicants with prior learning will be considered at interview through presentation of portfolio which demonstrates an equivalent standard in creative ability.

Internal Educational Progression
- Learners who successfully complete the QQI Level 6 programme may continue their studies and pursue a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture/Design.
