Course details

The Interior Design Foundation course provides learners with the key skills to undertake residential interior design projects. The curriculum offers a platform for further study up to BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture/Design (Level 8).

Entry Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate (5 passes)
  • Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent
  • Applicants of mature years will be considered on their merits
  • Students should present examples of their creative work at interview

International Educational Progression

Learners who successfully complete the QQI Level 5 programme may continue their studies and pursue QQI Level 6 and/or BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture/Design.

Learners may apply to a range of Higher Education Institutions through the Higher Education Links Schemes.
