This subject covers the operation and maintenance of common utilities found in industries. Topics include boiler systems, high purity water, industrial chillers and cooling towers.
Objectives
This subject aims to equip students with the basic knowledge and skills to:
- identify causes to performance issues in industrial utilities.
- handle performance problems related to deposition, corrosion and biofouling.
