Course details
This course is designed to demonstrate basic knowledge and skills of the Incident Command System (ICS). The potential workplace scenario that may contribute to its occurrences and the main measures that should be taken be considered measures as a response, prevention and recovery in the event of untoward emergency.
Thus ICS is the act of being prepared for an unexpected disaster. Whether natural disaster or a manmade one i.e., an earthquake or hurricane, a deadly influenza outbreak, or an employee's estranged spouse entering your workplace with a weapon you must plan for all eventualities.
This course is designed in compliance with the requirements and principles of National Incident Management System-USA (NIMS-USA) and Federal Emergency Management Agency-USA (FEMA-USA).
