Course Objectives
The course will address the skills and knowledge required to develop and implement an organization’s international compensation programme. It covers aligning the programme to organization and country specific requirements and measuring its effectiveness.
Course Outline
Develop processes for the delivery of an international compensation programme
- Analyse strategic and business plans to determine the scope of the international compensation programme and country specific requirements
- Develop a compensation structure which reflects different work activities and job roles and ensures the organisation’s competitiveness
- Develop remuneration and benefits delivery processes which support the international compensation programme
Facilitate the implementation of the international compensation programme
- Articulate the roles and responsibilities of human resource specialists and line managers responsible for implementing the international international compensation programme
- Identify and address any training requirements in relation to international remuneration and benefits practice for human resource specialists and line managers
Measure effectiveness of international compensation programme
- Develop processes and systems for gathering measurement data and feedback
- Analyse measurement data and feedback to establish performance against required criteria
- Recommend refinements or modifications to international compensation programmes
