Course details
This course will give you a detailed understanding of food safety plans. Topics include purchasing and receiving stock, hazard analysis, critical control points, staff training, cleaning schedules and recall. This course contains the nationally accredited unit SITXFSA001A - Implement Food Safety Procedures, which is the second of the two modules necessary to be a Food Safety Supervisor in the workplace.
Prerequisites
Students must have successfully completed the unit 'Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures' (SITXOH002a) and have a good understanding of written and spoken English.
Target Audience
Any person who will take on the responsibility of a Food Safety Supervisor - a requirement for anyone who plans to open a restaurant/cafe.
