Managing and securing the movement of goods as well as the essential control thereof from supplier to customer has become an ever increasing need within companies across the globe. Supply Chain and Logistics Management is integral in contributing towards the profitability of any organisation.

This Short Learning Programme (SLP) will ensure a general understanding of the supply chain & logistics framework which includes: the planning, procurement, pricing, stock management and distribution/logistics and is designed to help apply the principles and techniques associated with these areas of knowledge.

  • Independent demand inventory planning.
  • Materials and resource requirements planning.

Managing Change in Supply Chain Operations

  • Project Management.
  • Evolving business models and change drivers in the supply chain.

CERTIFICATION

  • Supply Chain & Logistics Management is a Short Learning Programme (SLP) that is certified by The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE) and endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Business Management (CIBM).
  • All Short Learning Programmes (SLPs) that are available through The Business School have been specifically designed for working adults. These SLPs differ from the full qualifications that are also available through Varsity College and which are registered on the National Qualifications Framework. Before you register you must ensure that the programme you select best suits your individual learning and workplace objectives.
