IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Preparation course

Course Description: The comprehensive introduction to IELTS.    This course will focus on the 4 major areas: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.

It is also covers the both modules of IELTS; Academic and General. This program will introduce the strategies of beating the timer for the long passages of Reading category and skills and art of hitting the target required scores in Writing. All students and test-takers will learn how to make their writing practices from simple to complex sentences.
                 
 
Course Content:

Module/Category1 : ASSESSEMENT DAY
Speaking Practice
- Assessment through asking personal details to determine level of speaking of students/test takers

Writing Practice
- Assessment through writing task 1 of writing category of general IELTS module to determine level of English of the test takers/students.

Duration per session: 2 to 3 hrs
 
 
Module/Category2
The proper course start up, Speaking Category
- Practicing how to answer the interviewer/examiner: Personal details including work place or home town, hobbies and interest and how you relate your life style to the society you are living.
- Giving opinions, how do you determine stereo type of personality, cultural attractions, traditional event to the modern and social media
- Strategies how to give relevance answers to the random questions of examiner.
Study materials 1-14 edition of Cambridge IELTS will be given.
 
Duration per session: 2 to 3 hrs
 
 
Module/Category3
- Listening practice: starting with listing to conversation of 2 to 3 people, question type, describing places and discussing holiday trips
- Random practice of listening from the given Cambridge study materials edition 1 – 14.
 
Duration per session:2 to 3 hrs
 
 
Module/Category4
- Reading practice: Different passages from the ancient times down to the invention of robots, fashion, immigration problems, land of Australia, The territory of England, The pacific ocean, the microbial and botanical medicine, etc.
- Reading diagram and matching type
- Reading information, true or false, yes or no, not given and multiple choice

Module/Category5
Writing practice: General ILETS Task 1
- email/business correspondence type (formal and informal letters)
Task 2 – Answering survey or giving opinion (Essay type)
-  Answer only what is being asked in the given problems, avoid repetition of words, make your sentence complex by putting appropriate articles.
- Use phrasal verbs only if needed, avoid deep vocabulary unless you can supply the simple synonym to it.
- Justify your opinion and relate or give your personal experience to your answer.

Writing practice: Academic task 1
- Identifying and reading different graphs, tables, diagram, flow chart, line graph, pie chart.
- Avoid repetition of words and watch out your punctuations.
- Emphasize your paragraphs and make sure you cover the details of the given tables or graphs.
- Use terminologies and vocabulary accordingly and academically.

Task 2 – Giving opinion, Essay type.
- Start with general view and emphasize the relevance of your answer to the given problems. Support your examples and relate it to your own experience.
- Emphasize your paragraph to max of 5
- Close your opinion by emphasizing last paragraph to your own views.

Mock Test – Authentic link is given to test takers/students for online practice of the 4 major categories: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing
