About IELTS

IELTS Syllabus
The IELTS competent test includes four segments, i.e. listening, reading, writing and speaking with multiple choice questions.
Listening has four sections. The first section includes a conversation between two people. The conversation in the second section is usually a monologue or a speech. The third section relates to an academic conversation of a maximum of four people and the last section is again a monologue lecture.
Reading assesses the reading ability of the applicant. The topics in the IELTS academic training include passages related to journals, books, magazines and newspapers.
Writing includes two tasks. In the IELTS academic training, Task1 will either have a graph, table, diagram or a chart which the applicant has to describe. Task2 is an essay on a given topic.
Speaking assesses the applicants’ vocabulary and grammar skills. This segment has three parts and questions asked by the examiner are recorded.
IELTS Eligilibilty
IELTS exam does not have any minimum eligibility criteria. Any person who’s willing to pursue studies or work abroad can give apply for this test.

Test Format
