Course details

Students who do not acheive a pass in their examinations can apply for a re-sit by telephone to the IAOT Student Support Manger. This must be done within of results being issued to a learner.

Resits are only granted to candidates who have demonstrated progression throughout the course.

IAOT is committed to ensuring that assessments/correction of examination papers is done fairly, consistently and in accordance with the specification for the qualification concerned. Marks are moderated between staff and are endorsed by external examiners. These systems help to ensure that the marks are fair.

Appeals

Appeals must be done on the IAOT Examination Appeals Form, which is available upon request from the IAOT Customer Support Manager. This must be done within 14 days of results being issued to a learner.

Airport Based Training

We have full use of the facilities and equipment at Waterford Airport. This includes a cabin mock up for Cabin Crew training, airport check-In desks and boarding gate for Passenger Services training.

Our students train on computerised check-In, package holiday and flight reservations  booking systems.  They experience what it is really like to work in the travel industry.
