I A Clown 2

Course details

Open only to participants who have completed ‘I a clown’ introductory course.

This course will focus on the clown duo. Drawing on the traditional archetype clown pairing of ‘Joey and Auguste’, ultimate manipulator and victim, but working with them through a modern sensibility.

In ‘I a clown’ we work with what it is for each inpidual clown to be present with his or her audience. Here in ‘I a clown 2’ we work in pairs, developing sensitivity, complicity, anarchy and playfulness.

The archetype clown duo is found in almost every comedy/tragic pairing from Laurel and Hardy to Abbot and Costello and Beckett’s Vladimir (Didi) and Estragon (Gogo) in Waiting for Godot.

Not for the faint hearted where dysfunction is the order of the day.

Cancellation Policy

The full course fee is payable as acceptance of an offer of a place on the course.

The course fee is non-returnable unless withdrawal is received within two months of the course start date, when a sum of €100 will be retained to cover administration costs. In the event of a cancellation between one and two months of the course start date, the sum of €250 will be retained. A withdrawal less than one month before the course start date will result in the forfeiture of the entire fee.
