Course details
This course is intended to give background awareness about the Human Factors concepts for the personnel involved in aircraft maintenance environment. The course is of generic nature, which includes but not limited to; the factors affecting human performance, various types of human errors and violations, discussion of the dirty dozen, and methods of human errors prevention and/or reduction in aviation maintenance.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for attending this course, however, and since the course is conducted in English Language, the participant is required to be able to read, write and speak English at an understandable level.
Who should attend?
Human Factors training is a requirement for all personnel working in aviation maintenance eld.
Course Outcome
At the completion of this course, the attendee will be able to:
- Identify and understand human factors that contribute to errors and be in position to analyse the role of these factors in real- life aircraft incidents and accidents.
- Be able to devise strategies to reduce maintenance errors.
