    Course details

    This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills to carry out activities related to the maintenance of an individual’s personal care and/or other activities in their home. A Home care assistant provides services to the elderly in order to maintain good health, well-being and independence appropriate to the person’s needs and desires.

    The course will also equip students with the relevant skills to provide a safe environment for the person in their care.
