Course details

To equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in current and future employment or for progression to diplomas and degrees in the IT sector in Ireland and on undergraduate degrees in specific UK Universities.

Course Requirements

• Students applying directly from Leaving Certificate must have at least 1 C3 on a Higher Level paper and four passes on Ordinary papers including English and Mathematics.
• Students applying directly from QQI Level 5 Certificate require a full Award of at least 205 points generated from 8 relevant full-value modules. Points are awarded as follows:

Progression with exemptions to degree courses in Institutes of Technology and through UCAS system to UK Universities. Progression to Dun Laoghaire IT into the Business and Enterprise Degree Programme and into the Marketing and Management Degree Programme in Tallaght IT.
