The Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering programme will equip students with Electrical Engineering technical knowledge and skills to develop their opportunities in the electrical industry especially in the maintenance of the electrical services for the building, competent in performing electrical works, energy management, production unit and installation of electrical design.
The graduates will be able to manage electrical facilities effectively and competent enough in problem solving. Student will be able to adapt and update in the dynamic environment by understanding the concepts of power system, electrical power, AC & DC and maintenance of electrical system that is essential for business operations. The programme is developed to deliver and educate the knowledge on designing the electrical system to the buildings, BMS (Building Management System), maintenance of electrical system, electrical installation, monitoring & conducting energy audits and optimal energy usage for the building as one of the requirement of BCA green mark assessment for buildings.
