What is this course about?

This one-year graduate diploma programme has been designed for graduates of business and nonbusiness disciplines in order to equip them with the necessary knowledge and competences in supply chain management and business.

Aim

The course will provide the student with core knowledge, skills and competencies in the areas of supply chain management, strategic management, industrial purchasing strategies, supply chain planning and control and international business.

Progression routes from this programme

This qualifi cation will allow the participant to apply for the MBA or MB, depending on his/her business experience, and continue to develop and extend his/her skills base and knowledge at Level 9.

What are the minimum entry requirements?

  • Applicants require an NFQ Level 8 Award or equivalent, for entry to this programme.
  • Other applicants will be considered on an individual basis in accordance with the Institute policy on RPL. The RPL policy of the Institute allows applicants without a level 8 qualifi cation in a recognised area to be afforded the opportunity of submitting a portfolio to support their application. This portfolio should detail applicant’s work and education experience.
  • All applicants who submit a portfolio will be interviewed in order to determine their suitability for the programme.

Lifelong Learning reserve the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the programme.
