Public Relations Officers use all forms of media and communication to build, maintain and manage the reputation of their clients. These range from public bodies to businesses and voluntary organisations. They communicate key messages to defined target audiences in order to establish and maintain goodwill and understanding between an organisation and its public. The Higher Certificate: Commerce: Public Relations provides you with the knowledge to demonstrate understanding of the principles of public relations, its role and its function. In addition, the programme supports skills and competencies including operational Business Skills, Communication as well as Finances, Law and Management.
