This qual­i­fi­ca­tion can also be used to apply for a range of engi­neer­ing courses in the Insti­tutes of Tech­nol­ogy through the QQI entry route. Stu­dents may also apply for entry to the Galway-Mayo Insti­tute of Tech­nol­ogy (Letterfrack).
