HABC Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work

Course details

HABC are recognised by Ofqual, Welsh Government, CCEA and SQA to award accredited Food Safety, Health and Safety, HACCP, First Aid, Licensing, Security (SIA), Fire Safety and Teaching qualifications in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

Qualification Details:

The HABC Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) has been accredited by the regulators of England and Wales (Ofqual and the Welsh Government) and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
It is supported by Skills for Health; the Sector Skills Council for Health.

Qualification Overview:

This qualification is designed for those learners already working or preparing to work in industry and that have been identified within the company’s risk assessment of First Aid. It is typically delivered as a one day programme.

Topics within this course are regarded by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as being important in maintaining good practice in the safe, prompt and effective treatment of injuries and ill health in the workplace.

Entry Requirements:

Learners are required to be 16 years of age prior to certification.

It is advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy.

Qualification Structure?

This qualification consists of one mandatory unit, which learners must complete successfully in order to achieve the qualification, Emergency First Aid in the Workplace.
