The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety for Carers is knowing the importance of the maintenance of a safe and clean environment in a variety of settings will be understood. The necessity to follow company health and safety rules and procedures will also be understood.
Course Objective
This qualification provides the opportunity for learners to develop competence in key skills and produce evidence towards attaining key skills
Learners gaining this qualification will know that Health and Safety is the responsibility of everyone within a business, including contractors, visitors and suppliers.
The qualification does not ensure key skills are met as this would depend upon learners producing a portfolio of evidence and the mode of study adopted.
