First AidThis course is aimed at providing participants with the necessary knowledge and practical skills required to support and perform emergency first aid in the workplace
Course Objectives:
As a result of attending this program, Participants should be able to:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
- Know how to assess an incident
- Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
- Be able to manage a casualty who is not breathing normally and unresponsive
- Know how to recognize and assist a casualty who is choking
- Know how to recognize and assist a casualty with a minor injury
- Know how to manage a casualty who is in shock
