- Evaluate the development of Graphic Design
- Demonstrate a practical knowledge and application of design terminology though the critic and evaluation of own and others work
- Identify different graphic design styles and applications, both traditional and contemporary
- Apply and manipulate text digitally to create a graphic design solution for a given brief
- Apply and manipulate both vector and pixel based imagery to create a graphic design solution
- Use different software packages in creating graphic design solutions
- Critically evaluate the development of a design solution and implement changes based on this appraisal
- Produce a body of work that demonstrates graphic design solutions created for application to a number of different media
- Demonstrate mounting and present work to an appropriate standard for a graphic design portfolio
- Demonstrate research and linear ideas generation
