Who Should Attend
This programme is designed for those who are working as materials manager, plant manager, sourcing manager, purchasing & inventory manager, procurement & operations manager, purchasing agents, senior buyers, planners & buyers, sourcing engineers, equipment engineers, transport manager, forwarders and traffic & warehouse supervisors.
Entry Requirement
- Applicants must have one for the following qualifications:-
- A recognized Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management from SIMM.
- Applicants preferably should have at least 5 years of working experience. Applicants who do not possess the above qualifications but deemed to have equivalent qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Assessment and Examinations
The GDLSCM programme examination is a continuous assessment through written assignments, special projects and examinations. This ensures that actual application of concepts and knowledge with professional experience will make learning more practical and relevant.
Students must:
- complete all six modules for GDLSCM course
- achieve at least 75% attendance per module in the GDLSCM course
- complete Apply Project Management Skills with 100% attendance
- pass all the prescribed examinations.
Students have to pass the prescribed examination with a total score of 50 or higher. A supplementary exam may be granted to students who failed the main examination. The student will be required to repeat the subject if the student failed the supplementary examination.
Students are also required to attend a 2-weekend workshop on Apply Project Management Skills and pass the assessment accordingly.
Award of Graduate Diploma
Upon successful completion of the programme, students are awarded the Graduate Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. GDLSCM graduates with good overall grading can pursue the Master in Logistics & Supply Chain Management by Curtin University of Technology, Australia, provided they possess a recognized Bachelor Degree, subject to Curtin’s approval.
