Dealing with conflict in the workplace can be difficult. Seeing a person with whom you have issues every day can be challenging and distracting. Resolving conflicts has a major positive effect on the work environment, making it happier and more productive. This conflict resolution training course highlights the important aspects of resolving conflicts in the workplace. The course offers a myriad of conflict resolution skills and strategies that will help employees better deal with disputes in the workplace. The course describes:
- The definition of conflict
- Typical responses to conflict and why most are unhelpful
- Factors in your personal life that might be increasing the conflict at work
- Tips for understanding underlying factors that might be affecting the person with whom you are in conflict
- Strategies for resolving the situations, including what to say and where to say it
This conflict resolution video offers helpful interactive features, including brief periodic quizzes to ensure that the employees who take this course understand the material. Furthermore, the course also includes an end of course test, which requires a minimum score in order for completion. Employees are able to review the course and retake the test until they pass.
