Foundation Certificate

Course details

Graduates will obtain comprehensive academic qualification and professional certifications. It is the aim of the Foundation programme to equip “N” level students (or their equivalent) with the skills necessary to succeed in their Advanced Diploma Course.

The Foundation programme will provide students with solid grounding in four key core study areas that are deemed essential for college-level success. Students passing the Foundation programme are eligible for entry to the Advanced Diploma Course.

How will I be assessed?

All modules will be assessed through a combination of assessments, tests, class participation and written examinations. To be awarded the Foundation Certificate, students will need to achieve a passing mark of 50% for all modules.

Entry Requirements

3.1. Entry Qualification Requirement

The minimum entry requirement into the Foundation course is 3 GCE “N” levels or International High School equivalent. Other qualifications will be considered and approved by Raffles University System on a case-by-case basis.

3.2. English Language Requirement

The minimum entry requirement is IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent. Students who do not meet this entry requirement are required to undertake an appropriate Raffles University System English Proficiency course.
