This program is designed to provide trainees with information to operate forklift safely. Employers are required to comply with the law to protect their workers from injury by providing training in forklift safe operation. Many of Forklift accident occurring every year some of these accident are fatal or property damage caused by operator error, poor maintenance and unsuitable operating surrounding The course covers the principles on reducing the risks of accident and property damage associated with forklift operation activities which can result serious impact to organization.
Course Objective:
- Equip trainees with knowledge, skills and confidence in safe forklift operations.
- Prevent or reduce accidents caused by forklift operations.
- Increased operator awareness of safety hazards.
- Forklift component function and operator abuses, for eminent failure detection.
- Aware of safe operation procedures and practices for proper lifting and handling.
- Operators achieve a common base of knowledge so that all operators can communicate and understand lifting concerns as they arise.

Forklift operators, Maintenance people and area supervisor or any person using forklift at workplace.
