Course details

It is essential for food safety that all food handlers are aware of the hazards and controls associated with the types of food they produce. Every year, many people are made ill and some even die as a result of eating contaminated food. Food businesses have a legal and moral obligation to ensure they are not contributing to these statistics.

The HABC Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (QCF) has been accredited by the regulators of England and Wales (Ofqual and the Welsh Government) and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).It is supported by People 1st the Sector Skills Council for the Hospitality Industry.

Examination:

LEVEL 2: Course will be assessed by a 1 hour, multiple choice examination.
