Most of the main causes of long-term illness and untimely death, including obesity, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, digestive disorders,many cancers, depression, joint problems,osteoporosis, are now firmly linked to poor dietary choices. These conditions are often caused or worsened by relying on a diet of highly processed, nutrient-depleted foods, aided and abetted by poor lifestyle choices, such as lack of exercise and high stress levels.

We need food to keep us alive,but only recently has science discovered that what is on our plates can be slowly killing us!

Your Food Matters tutor, a qualified Nutrition & Health Coach, will explain why the key to vitality and wellness is healthy eating. The mission is to help you achieve your wellness goals – and make them stick! There is plenty of time for Q & A and discussions each week. You will also have access to Food Matters Online – a wealth of nutrition and health resources. This includes a special set of cooking videos by Maggie Lynch of The Soul Food Company.
