This fashion buying course will help you to make that leap forward into the fast paced world of fashion retail. You will learn all about what a buyer and merchandiser actually do and the everyday challenges that you will be faced with at all levels of the market.
This course will introduce you to the roles and what to expect if you plan to start your career with an established retailer, or if you have recently started in a buying or merchandising role and want to understand best practice.
With the emphasis on larger retailers, this course will help you understand what it takes to succeed as a buyer or merchandiser, and the many exciting and challenging aspects of the roles.
You will also start to build a comprehensive reference file on the subject.

The projects you'll be asked to undertake involve mathematical formulae therefore it's essential you have an understanding of basic maths.
Level:
Beginners. You should have an interest in the subject area and a desire to learn but no previous experience is required.
Certificate:
All students who fully participate in all session of the course will receive a 'Certificate of Short Course Attendance' from London College of Fashion.
