Course details

This is a hugely successful training programme aimed at young

people aged from 18 to 35, currently in receive of Social Welfare payments.

The Programme includes academic and practical skills training, mock and exit interviews, guest speakers and support to young people to assist them in returning to

education or the workplace.

The programme is full time and will commence in September 2015 to June 2016. Participants will complete the FETAC Level 4 Employment Skills Training Progamme which covers the following modules:

  • Communications
  • Career Planning
  • Functional Mathematics
  • Customer Service
  • Workplace Safety
  • Personal & Interpersonal Development
  • Personal Effectiveness
  • Work Experience
  • Information Technology

Skills Training include:

  • Occupational First Aid
  • Health & Fitness
  • Outdoor Pursuits

In September 2012 ACCESS 2000 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Project celebrated the re-launch of the Westgate Computer Training Centre under the Voluntary Board of Management of  ACCESS.
ACCESS appreciates that this as a great opportunity of expanding its current training facilities. theywill continue to deliver the full range of training programmes that Westgate previously delivered with some new additions. 
theywill provide professional training and education at competitive cost to businesses, as well as to their future employees
The Centre is FETAC and ECDL Quality Assured.  All theirtrainers are qualified and receive training on a regular basis to update their knowledge and skills.
