Course details

Charles Darwin wrote the book on natural selection: “Survival of the fittest is about adaptability to a changing environment and new competitive realities” and this sums up the key challenge facing many organisations today in preparing their project managers to lead and deliver projects successfully, on time and within budget regardless of the type of industry, project type, scope or location. Now more than ever global standards are crucial to the professional project manager because they ensure a professional project management standard is applied consistently worldwide. More importantly, it can help an organisation align its project workload to meet its strategic goals, while making the best use of their limited resources. Coming from a range of industries and organisations, you are invited to join fellow executives with a shared desire to deliver a higher performance in delivering projects. This executive diploma is your chance to gather the savoir-faire and inspiration needed to deliver these strategically important projects. The programme also presents a meeting place for like-minded but diverse experts to discuss many of the trends and challenges facing project managers in today’s global economy.

We_They Advantage is an initiative which gives students the opportunity to engage in a development programme run parallel to their academic studies that prepares students for the workplace. It has long been recognised that the role of third level is not simply to impart knowledge but to contribute to maintaining a competitive and a ‘smart’ economy, and also to play a valuable part in the holistic development of the person. Part of this development relates to the fostering of ‘transferable’ or ‘generic’ skills in inpiduals. Examples of such skills are communication skills, planning, leadership, multi-tasking etc. – skills that are essential not just in learning or work situations, but in all areas of life. We_They Advantage assists We_They students in developing these important skills.
