This subject covers an integrated approach to environmental management through the consideration of the potential impact of human activities on the physical and biological environment. Topics covered in this subject include ISO 14001 environmental management system (EMS) and environmental regulations in Singapore.
Objectives
This subject aims to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills to:
- develop an EMS.
- describe Singapore's environmental legislation and requirement.
- perform mock audits for ISO 14001.
