This course is specifically designed to help professionals in the international tourism industry to improve their English communication skills as well as their international tourism techniques.
This course will give students a wider understanding of the international tourism sector as well as equip them with useful soft skills when dealing with clients.

- Customer relations: Providing information on and effectively describing tourist sites and visits
- Customer relations: Entertaining visitors, presenting your company, socialising and negotiating
- Eco & Sustainable Tourism: Presenting projects, explaining aims, results and benefits
- Hospitality English: Functional English required for working in a variety of hospitality departments (reception, reservations, bars, restaurants, housekeeping, etc)
- Excursion to one of Dublin’s top visitor attractions followed by case study analysis
Week 2
- Upselling professionally and effectively – achieving extra sales using a soft sales approach
- Customer relations: Identifying and practising effective ways of handling customer complaints and problems
- Guest speaker: Trends in Tourism
- Customer relations: Preparing, booking and describing an appealing itinerary and different types of holiday
- Excursion to one of Dublin’s top visitor attractions followed by case study analysis
