Course details
The subject covers a basic understanding of the economic aspects of operational applications, elements of costs and costing methods, and relation between cost behavior and profit. The subject also focuses on the applications of the process on economic analysis of different investment alternatives.
Objectives
The aims of this subject are to provide students with the knowledge and:
- Skills to perform feasibility studies of engineering proposals.
- Basic analytical skill to analyze investment alternatives.
- Fundamental skill to measure business performance.
