Course details
The Employability skills Certificate will give the student the necessary skills to apply for a job, to evaluate their skills and to identify any skills shortages. It will also provide the student with the foundation in mathematics and computer skills to progress to a Major Award in General Learning, FETAC Level 4 and Business studies Level 5 in the Centre.

- A minimum of eight modules must be completed to achieve a major award:

- Communications (mandatory)
- Mathematics (mandatory)
- Application of Numbers (mandatory)
- Work Experience (mandatory)
- Word Processing (mandatory)
- Internet Skills (mandatory)
Entry Requirements
- Junior Certificate
- All entry is subject to interview
Work Experience
This programme is specifically a certificate in employability skills and therefore, work placement is a mandatory part of the course.
