Course details
In this course, you will understand how to manage the initial stages of your eLearning project - ideation and briefing. Like the beginning of any good project, it is about establishing a solid and comprehensive foundation to guide the rest of the project. When decisions are clear, and are agreed upon in a scope of works, it means we are better able to deliver on expectations in design and development.
The four sections of this course, comprised of 30 lectures, cover everything from briefing and audience engagement to laws, ethics, and reporting. It is a comprehensive look at setting up your eLearning project from a management perspective and establishing a pedagogical model that makes sense to your primary audience.
Lessons have been built around the following ideas - so that you can feel confident in your project and your ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders:
Building blocks of an eLearning strategy
What needs to be in the briefing document
Making decisions to establish a scope of works
eLearning trends and needs of modern learners
Models and tools for learner engagement
Copyright, intellectual property laws and ethics
Effective collaboration in the reporting process
Videos, tools, templates, external links and practical suggestions support your learning experience, so that you have plenty of useful information to apply in the real world.
