• this course begins with exploring storytelling and an editor's role in it. Using classic and contemporary examples, examines the Grammar of editing, showing how an editor's decisions impact emotion, meaning, and advancement of story, with a tour of the software interface, and then goes through the entire post-production workflow—including media import and organization, editing and trimming, audio adjustment, styling and retiming effects, color correction, titles, and output.
• this course also explains the concepts behind color correction and color grading, and guides editors through the process of correcting contrast, color balance, and hue/saturation.
• This course also discusses how to enhance and stylize footage, and provides a solutions for the most common color-correction problems that editors encounter.
