Price: TBA
  • Duration: TBA

Course details

As a continuation of Semiconductors course (ELCT 503), the Electronic Circuits course (ELCT 604) will cover applications of semiconductor devices (BJT and MOS transistors) and integrated circuits (ICs).The course will focus on advanced transistor amplifier analysis, including frequency and feedback effects. Design of differential amplifiers, power amplifiers, operational amplifiers (op-amps) analog filters, oscillators, A/D and D/A converters are also given. Introduction to transistor level design of BJT and CMOS digital circuits will be presented. This course run together with the part of Microelectronics LAB [ELCT 605] related to the CAD tools for analog IC simulation (PSpice Simulation).

  • Revision of MOS and BJT basic amplifiers (DC and AC analysis)
  • Amplifiers frequency response
  • Feedback amplifiers
  • Output stages design for power amplifiers
  • Analog IC’s: op-amps and Data converters
  • CMOS op-amps
  • Oscillators
  • Active filter design
