A multi-generational workforce that also cuts across cultures is increasingly common among retailers. Retail managers who want to be more successful in driving workforce productivity must have the relevant competencies to manage the performance of these staff. Through a better understanding the human needs of a multi-generational workforce and deploying relevant strategies, managers will be more effective in leading their staff.
The 2-day course will familiarise managers with the principles of performance management - a better understanding on performance standards, measurements and criteria; and, using these to appraise, review and manage performance of the staff. Managers will explore techniques on feedback, counseling and dealing with under-performers.
