The world competition in global business has escalated to using supply change management as a competitive advantage to outperform competitors, leading to the rise of third-party logistics in world-class logistics practice, as companies resort to strategic outsourcing of their non-core logistics activities.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
This course is designed to provide an insight into how third-party logistics drive and contribute towards the efficiency, agility, flexibility and effectiveness of a supply chain by 3PL service providers’ core competencies.
The course also, from the perspectives of users and service providers, incorporates the organization, management, coordination and measurement of outsourced 3PL’s operations, processes and services to achieve the strategic, collaborative and proactive management of inbound and outbound logistics in global supply chain management.
