If you would like to improve your computer skills, then the ECDL – European Computer Driving License, is for you. Whether your computer is used for business or pleasure, ECDL is for anyone who wishes to become fully competent in the use of a computer and common applications.

It is pided into seven modules, six practical and one theoretical. An automated test in each module must be passed before the ECDL is awarded. A candidate has three years fro the date they pass their first test to complete all seven modules.

Centred on a special user-friendly Skills Card, this step-by-step course is the most successful computer skills programme around. This card records the skills you demonstrate in each of seven computer related modules:

  • Concepts of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
  • Using the computer and managing files
  • Word Processing (MS Word)
  • Spreadsheets (MS Excel)
  • Database (MS Access)
  • Presentation (MS PowerPoint)
  • Web Browsing and Communication

On successfully passing each module, the corresponding skill is noted on your card. The final achievement of a full card leads to the award of your European Computer Driving License, a qualification that is recognised throughout the EU.

When a candidate has decided to sit a test, a Tester, who will be present at all times during the test will supervise and explain all the test procedures.
